I have always been fascinated by the textures, patterns, and colors of fabric.  While I have sewn all my life, it wasn’t until I began quilting that I was able to use fabric in the way I wanted.  I have found great inspiration for my quilt designs through my studies of textiles and ornamentation from other countries.  Lately, I have been drawn to Art Deco and modern art design.  Consequently, my most recent work has begun migrating to a more abstract imagery using geometric shapes as I try to translate what I am seeing and learning into my own style.
